4:00 Meeting

November 10th, 2007 · No Comments

Visual path — we realized once we have public disclosure, not going to be protectable. Need to file a provisional patent first. Shhhhhh….bloggers, especially. blah blah blah

Marketing/PR: who is target market? timeline for rollout? is the Skribit corporate blog up yet?

Creative: Check out the logo on BaseCamp.

(I hear someone saying “how Web 2.0″ in my ear…the person shall remain nameless. Hasn’t that been banned yet? I think Andrew is on Web 5.0 or something by now.)

Dev: Showing the flow; not too many error codes, remarkably. “Oops, that might still be broken.” “It needs some style.”

UI: uploaded some pictures, using the 15-minute rule to pump out pages every 15 minutes ; trying to get something prettier out of Creative. There’s a mockup of what the widget should be similar to. (Pretty hardcore UI — actually doing mockups and stuff. In DC, we used a lot of big Post-It notes.)

General chit chat: Is there going to be voting? Some confusion over that one. Number or no number?

(Can we ban the word “algorithm” along with “Web 2.0?”)

Next meeting at 5:30, Andrew sez.
